BOULDER, Colo. – No. 14 TCU suffered another one-possession loss away from home in the final seconds of play on Sunday, falling 80-79 to Colorado at the CU Events Center.
Up 79-77 with five seconds to go, Jade Masogayo beat a TCU defender off the dribble and converted an and-one to lift the Buffaloes (16-8, 7-5 Big 12) past the Horned Frogs.
With two seconds remaining and TCU down a point, the Horned Frogs (21-4, 9-3 Big 12) drew up a 3-point attempt for Olivia Miles. But the shot clanged off the side of the backboard, sending TCU to its third loss in its last six games
The Horned Frogs' last three defeats have come by a grand total of five points.
Miles scored a career-high 31 points on 11-19 shooting. Of her points, 22 came in the second half.
The national player of the year candidate twice staked TCU to an eight-point lead in the second half. Miles first buried a step back three midway through the third to put TCU ahead 47-39. A fast break layup from Miles later gave TCU a 74-66 edge with 6:50 to go in the game.

The Horned Frogs fell behind 28-17 late in the opening frame but rallied to level the score at 34-34 entering the intermission. TCU closed the first half on a 14-4 run.
