Simpson Family Restoration Center
Facility Facts
Year Opened:Â 2025
The 10,000-square-foot facility is named in honor of the Simpson family and stewarded by Bob R. Simpson, chairman of TXO Partners and chairman of the Executive Committee of the 2023 World Series Champion Texas Rangers, and Gary D. Simpson, co-founder of REVSTRONG Texas and executive at TXO Partners.
The Simpson Family Restoration Center is where the Horned Frogs begin their post-practice recovery at the hydrotherapy "lazy river" which is kept between 45 and 55 degrees for a walking lap path immediately off the practice field.
Fitting to Coach Meyer's famous rallying cry, the restoration center also includes a recovery room that houses hydro massage pods, the Kyle Family Sauna, the Perryman Family Infared Room and the Moore Family Snow Room, which is the only snow room on a college campus. Each day, the room fills with snow to provide the most unique contrast therapy experience anywhere in collegiate or professional sports
