Baugh Named Big 12 Newcomer of the Week

The junior guard averaged 18.5 points and 6.0 rebounds last week
FORT WORTH – TCU junior Damion Baugh was voted Big 12 Newcomer of the Week on Monday.
The transfer from Memphis averaged 18.5 points and 6.0 rebounds while shooting 51.9 percent from the field last week for the Horned Frogs. Baugh had 20 points on 8-of-13 shooting from the field and added a career-high eight rebounds in a 72-63 win at Oklahoma. He followed up with 17 points on six made field goals against Kansas State and had four rebounds and two assists.
It was the first weekly recognition for Baugh and the second for a TCU player this season. Mike Miles was named Big 12 Player of the Week on Dec. 20.
TCU (15-5, 4-4) hosts Oklahoma State (11-11, 4-6) Tuesday at 6 p.m. on ESPNU.
