Frogs to face University of Ottawa on Saturday and Sunday
FORT WORTH – TCU will play two exhibition games against the University of Ottawa in San Jose, Costa Rica on Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday's game will be played at 9 p.m. CT (8 p.m. in Costa Rica) and Sunday's will be at 5 p.m. CT (4 p.m. in Costa Rica). Both games will be played at Seminario, a private college in San Jose. Hailing from Ottawa, Canada, the University of Ottawa went 16-6 last season and won its last eight games. The Gee-Gees averaged 83.7 points per game, which ranked third in the Ontario University Athletics, the regional membership association for Canadian universities in the province of Ontario.
Heading into Jamie Dixon's 11th season at TCU, the Frogs return four players, including three starters from last season's team which made the NCAA Tournament for the fourth time in five seasons. All-Big 12 Conference forward Xavier Edmonds returns, along with Brock Harding, Micah Robinson and Tanner Toolson.
Highlighting the list of 10 newcomers are 2026 Big West Conference Freshman of the Year Gavin Sykes and last season's No. 1 ranked junior college player Trent Lincoln.
