QUOTES
Coach Raegan Pebley commented during the postgame interview. "I was very pleased with our performance today and how we opened the season. Knisha had the hot hand today and was able to get herself to the free throw line, but I really believe this is a team where it could be Godfrey, Emily Fisher, Paige Bradley, Roxane Makolo and multiple other players that score in double figures for us." Pebley added "I thought we also shared the ball unselfishly. We talk about if the ball moves, then the scoreboard moves. It's more important if we score as a team, than individually."
UP NEXT
The Horned Frogs will now face their first road test of the season on Saturday at 12 p.m. versus North Carolina. The game will be live on television on the ACC Network along with airing live on the radio through KTCU.
