Annual Thanksgiving holiday tournament takes place from Nov. 27-28
FORT WORTH – TCU's Thanksgiving plans are set, and they include back-to-back games vs. Power Conference foes.
The Horned Frogs will face Georgia Tech and Mississippi State on Nov. 27-28 in the sixth annual Elevance Health Women's Fort Myers Tip-Off.
TCU is a part of an eight-team field featuring five programs that qualified for the 2026 NCAA Tournament. Among the teams joining the Horned Frogs in southwestern Florida are LSU, NC State, Indiana, Kansas State and Villanova.
All teams will play two predetermined matchups with game dates and tipoff times set to be unveiled in the coming weeks.
The action unfolds inside Suncoast Credit Union Arena on the campus of Florida SouthWestern State College.
All games will air nationwide on Scripps Sports/ION across cable and satellite television providers and major streaming platforms.
Travel packages are available starting May 20 and include tickets to every game, hotel accommodations and venue parking.
All-session and single-session tickets go live in September.
Buoyed by a six-player portal class, TCU is primed to build off a 2025-26 season that saw the program return to the Elite Eight, post a 32-6 overall record and finish No. 6 the final Associated Press poll. The Horned Frogs were slotted No. 14 in ESPN's Way-Too-Early Top 25 and checked in at No. 15 in CBS Sports' first preseason poll.
Under fourth-year head coach Mark Campbell, TCU has morphed into one of the winningest programs in the country. TCU has tallied the sixth-most victories (87) of any Division I program, won three Big 12 titles and notched 20 AP Top 10 rankings over the last three seasons. The Frogs enter the 2026-27 campaign as one of only four teams at the Power Conference level riding consecutive 30-win campaigns.
TCU last faced Mississippi State in the second round of the 2024 Women's Basketball Invitational Tournament, with the Bulldogs claiming a 68-61 win. The Horned Frogs are 1-2 in the all-time series between the programs.
The matchup vs. the Yellow Jackets will be the first in program history.
The complete TCU women's basketball nonconference schedule will be unveiled over the coming months.
