Horned Frogs close out non-conference play on the road

THE GAME
• The TCU Horned Frogs (9-1, 0-0) will close out non-conference play this Sunday, Dec. 29, taking on Middle Tennessee State (7-4, 0-0) on the road.
• Tip-off between the Horned Frogs and Blue Raiders is set for 1 p.m. at the Murphy Center in Murfreesboro, Tenn.
• Sunday's contest will mark just the second-ever meeting between TCU and MTSU, but the first since 1988.
• TCU is wrapping up non-conference play on the road for just the ninth time in program history and for the first time since the 2002-03 season when the Horned Frogs went on the road to face Santa Clara.
• A win on Sunday would give TCU back-to-back seasons with a 10-1 record in non-conference play.
FROG FAST BREAKS
• TCU is coming off its most lopsided victory of the season, downing Texas State 79-52 at home last Sunday.
• TCU pushed its non-conference home winning streak to 24 straight games with the win over Texas State - a streak that dates back to Dec. 1, 2017.
• Head coach Raegan Pebley is in her sixth season at the helm of the Horned Frog program. Pebley has compiled a record of 104-72 on the sidelines in Fort Worth, while donning an overall record of 260-247 in 17 seasons.
• TCU currently ranks No. 17 in the latest edition of the NCAA RPI rankings. The Horned Frogs rank as the highest Big 12 team, 18 spots higher than No. 35 Baylor.
• TCU received votes in both the AP Top-25 Poll for a fourth consecutive week.

• Middle Tennessee will be playing for the first time since Dec. 18, when the Blue Raiders downed VCU 86-63 at home.
• The Blue Raiders are 7-4 overall with losses to No. 13 Kentucky, No. 22 Gonzaga, Arizona State and Belmont.
• The Blue Raiders are 4-1 overall at home this season, with its only loss coming to Kentucky.
• MTSU, who was picked to finish second in Conference USA, is led in scoring by sophomore Anatasia Hayes' 17.2 points per game average.
• Charity Savage has a team-best 11.2 rebounds per game average, which also ranks first in C-USA and No. 14 in the nation.
• MTSU shoots .398 from the field, but give up .401 from the floor to opposing teams this season.
