* TCU (23-15) played in the semifinal round of a postseason tournament for the first time in program history and will face Georgia Tech Thursday in its first postseason championship game.
* TCU's 23 wins are tied for fifth-best in a season in program history and are its most since going 27-6 in the 1997-98 campaign.
* TCU's 11-game victory improvement over last season is tied for the second-largest in program history, equaling the 1930-31 team that went 18-4 after the 1929-30 squad was 7-10 (11 games). The TCU record is a 13-game improvement from 1922-23 to 1923-24.
* TCU has recorded four postseason victories in the same year for the first time in program history.
* March 28 marked the latest in a season that TCU played.
