POSTGAME NOTES
Air Force 70, TCU 65
USAFA, Colo. (Clune Arena)
March 2, 2011
Attendance: 1,707
- TCU finished the regular season with a 10-21 overall record. The Frogs concluded the Mountain West Conference schedule with a 1-15 mark.
- TCU's 14 3-pointers marked its highest number this season and the most in a single game since the squad hit a school-record 17 in a Mountain West Tournament first-round loss to UNLV on March 3, 2008.
- TCU utilized its 15th different starting lineup of the season. The figure would have ranked No. 2 nationally entering the day.
- Greg Hill tied a career high with 23 points. He previously scored 23 during last season's road win at Air Force. Hill became the fifth different Frog to score at least 20 points in a game this season.
- Hill went 6-of-12 from 3-point range, matching Ronnie Moss' team season-high total for treys recorded during the Jan. 12 home win over Wyoming.
- Hank Thorns totaled 11 assists, his ninth contest this season with double figures in helpers. The nine performances would have tied him for second place nationally entering the day. He is currently only one shy of Tony Edmond's TCU record of 10 set in 1989-90.
- Thorns moved into third place on the MWC's all-time single-season assist chart, passing by UNLV's Jerel Blassingame, who totaled 205 helpers in 2003-04. Thorns now has 210 this season.
- Thorns also moved into third place on TCU's all-time single-season assist list, passing by former Frog Prince Fowler, who recorded 200 dimes as a junior in 1997-98.
- Thorns finished the conference season with 130 assists, only three shy of Mark Dickel's (UNLV) 1999-2000 record of 133 in MWC play.
- J.R. Cadot scored 12 points, the fifth time in the last six games he has reached double figures.
- Freshman Jarvis Ray earned his second career start. He previously started during the Nov. 27 home win over Houston.
