2006-07 [Freshman Season]
In his first season with the Horned Frogs, Morones appeared in 17 games where he averaged 3.8 minutes per evening... concluded his rookie campaign by averaging 0.1 points, 0.4 rebounds, 0.5 assists and 0.4 steals per game... recorded a career-high 10 minutes of action against BYU (Feb. 10) where he dished out a career-high four assists... scored his first collegiate point against Tulane (Dec. 9) after connecting on 1-of-2 attempts from the charity stripe... recorded a career-high three rebounds in his collegiate debut against Centenary (Nov. 11)... notched two assists and one steals against The University of Texas-San Antonio (Dec. 6).
High School
Morones was a standout for the Millersburg Military Institute[apos]s 'Gold' Team as he started all, but one game during his senior campaign... ranked first on the squad in assists and was second in steals... averaged 14.0 points and 8.0 assists per game in his final season... guided the Millersburg Military Institute to a 15-13-1 overall record en route to helping them earn a ranking of 27th in the country among prep teams by HoopsUSA.com... guided Lexington Catholic High School to a Kentucky State Championship during the 2001-02 campaign... lettered all four seasons during his prep career.

Morones is the son of Sean and Deshaynia Woods... father, Sean, is an assistant coach with the TCU men[apos]s basketball team and is a member of the University of Kentucky[apos]s Athletic Hall of Fame... is known as one of the 'Unforgettables' on the 1992 Wildcats[apos] team that fell 104-103 to Duke in the NCAA Elite Eights in what is widely considered as the greatest college basketball game ever... has one brother - DeSean... majoring in pre-medicine.
