Ninth-seeded Horned Frogs will face top-seeded Blue Devils on Saturday
GREENVILLE, S.C. – No. 9 seed TCU (23-11) will face No. 1 seed Duke (33-2) in the second round of the NCAA Tournament on Saturday at 4:15 PM CT on CBS.
NOTES
- TCU's one other time facing a No. 1 seed was in the second round in 2022, an 85-80 overtime loss to Arizona.
- TCU is 3-3 against AP Top 10 teams this season with wins over No. 5 Iowa State, No. 10 Florida and Texas Tech.
- TCU is 1-11 all-time against No. 1 ranked teams with the win coming against No. 1 Kansas in 2017.
- This is TCU's 12th appearance in the NCAA Tournament. The Frogs are 8-11 all-time in the Big Dance.
- The Frogs' 23 wins are their most since going 23-14 in the 2018-19 season.
- TCU is making its fifth NCAA Tournament appearance in the last eight seasons that a postseason was held.

- It is the first meeting between TCU and Duke.
- Jamie Dixon is 2-2 all-time against the Blue Devils, having faced them four times while at Pitt.
