FORT WORTH – No. 10 TCU celebrated its first Big 12 Championship and took a step toward capturing a second on Saturday.

TCU hung 27 points on the Wildcats in the third quarter to go on top by seven entering the final frame. An 11-0 run to start the fourth staked TCU to a 66-48 advantage with 6:50 to go and rendered the remaining action moot.

Miles scored eight of TCU's first 13 points in the third to help TCU create its first bit of separation. The Frogs led 43-37 entering the media timeout.
