17th-ranked Horned Frogs Open Cayman Islands Classic at 4 p.m. CT on Friday vs. Fighting Irish
FORT WORTH – No. 17 TCU is headed to the Caribbean to engage in one of college basketball's most anticipated Feast Week contests.
The Horned Frogs will open the Cayman Islands Classic vs. No. 3 Notre Dame at 4 p.m. CT on Friday at John Gray HS Gym in George Town, Grand Cayman.
The game represents TCU's first top-20 matchup since 2004 and is the fourth in program history. Friday's tilt is one of seven ballgames across the country pitting two AP Top 20 teams opposite one another over Thanksgiving holiday.
TCU wraps up its two-game stay in Central America with a 6:30 p.m. CT battle vs. South Florida on Saturday.

- The Cayman Islands Classic marks the seventh time TCU will compete outside the United States. TCU last laced 'em up abroad on Nov. 26-28, 2013, at the Hardwood Tournament of Hope in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, in Jeff Mittie's final season as head coach.

- Prince is the only player in the country averaging at least 20 points, nine rebounds and three blocks per game.
- Prince took home Associated Press National Player of the Week and Big 12 Player of the Week accolades after producing a 31-point, 16-rebound double-double in TCU's 76-73 win over No. 13 NC State. Her 16 rebounds are the most in a game by any player vs. a ranked opponent this season.
- Van Lith is the only D1 player averaging 17 points, seven assists and five rebounds per game.
- Van Lith is one of just three players in the last five years to accumulate 2,000 career points, 500 rebounds and 400 assists. The others are Caitlin Clark and Las Vegas Aces guard Dyaisha Fair.
