
Miles Declares for NBA Draft

FORT WORTH – TCU junior Mike Miles Jr. announced on Wednesday that he will forgo any remaining college eligibility and declare for the 2023 NBA Draft.
The junior guard will leave TCU ranked No. 15 in career scoring with 1,297 points after averaging 17.9 points per game this season, the second-most in the Big 12 Conference. His 49.7 percent shooting from the field was a career-best and the third-best in the Big 12, the tops among guards in the conference.
Miles excelled towards the end of the season, averaging 21.8 points over the two games in the Big 12 Championship and two NCAA Tournament games. He was 13-of-27 over that span from 3-point range for 48.1 percent.
The Highland Hills, Texas native became the first Horned Frog to be named a three-time All-Big 12 Conference player. He was named to the second team this season by the league's coaches and the Associated Press. Miles was also named NABC All-District 8 and USBWA All-District VII and named to the John R. Wooden Award Final Ballot.
