FORT WORTH – Mike Miles Jr. picked up two more postseason awards on Tuesday as he was named Second Team NABC All-District 8 and USBWA All-District VII.
Miles ranks third in the Big 12 with 17.3 points per game and is shooting 49.7 percent from the field. The junior from Highland Hills, Texas has reached 20 points eight times this season, including a career-high 33 points in a win over Baylor. Miles is also averaging 2.8 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game.
It was the second-straight season that Miles was named Second Team NABC All-District and USBWA All-District VII. Other Miles postseason awards this season include being named All-Big 12 Second Team by both the league's coaches and the Associated Press.
