
Four Horned Frogs Garner All-Region Honors

Brian, Bright and Hubbard earned 1st-Team All-Midwest
FORT WORTH – Four members of the TCU women's soccer team were named to the United Soccer Coaches Association All-Midwest Team.
Gracie Brian, Messiah Bright and Chaylyn Hubbard garnered 1st-team honors while Camryn Lancaster earned 3rd-team recognition. Bright was honored for the fifth straight year while Brian was recognized for the second straight year. The honor is the first for Hubbard and Lancaster.
Brian had a stellar senior campaign in which she became the program's all-time assist leader (24). She finished the season second on the team with 18 points (7G, 4A) and led the team with four game-winning goals. She played the entirety of seven matches throughout the season and contributed to multiple goals three times. Brian recorded a season-high five points with two goals and an assist in TCU's 7-0 win over No. 16 Santa Clara. She also garnered 1st-team All-Big 12 accolades.
Bright capped off her five-year career as the most prolific offensive player in program history. She is the program's all-time leader in goals (50) and points (118). She led the team in points for the second straight season with 26 (11G, 4A) and garnered 1st-team All-Big 12 honors. A United Soccer Coaches National Player of the Week selection on Aug. 31, Bright became the first player in TCU history to record two hat tricks with three goals at UTRGV (Aug. 29). She contributed to multiple goals in four games and scored two game-winners on the season.
Hubbard shined in her final season with the Horned Frogs. She led the team in minutes played with 1,988 and played the entirety of 13 matches. TCU posted 12 shutouts this season over the course of 24 games while only allowing 19 goals. Hubbard scored her first career goal, the game-winner, at Kansas State (Sept. 30), earning her United Soccer Coaches Team of the Week honors. A 1st-team All-Big 12 selection, she also tallied a career-high two assists against No. 16 Harvard. She only missed one game in her five-year career and started 106 games with the Frogs.
Lancaster was one of four players to start all 24 games. She finished fourth on the team with 13 points (6G, 1A) and posted three game-winning goals. A 1st-team All-Big 12 selection, Lancaster scored in back-to-back NCAA Tournament games, including the game-winner against Michigan State, to help advance TCU to its third consecutive Sweet 16.
