Slate will feature 9 road and 8 home matches
FORT WORTH – Ahead of the program's 41st season, the TCU women's soccer team released its full schedule for the 2026 campaign on Thursday.
The Horned Frogs are coming off a historic season in Funky Town in which the program reached its first-ever NCAA College Cup. TCU also won the Big 12 Regular Season crown for the fourth time in the last six seasons, cementing itself as a force to be reckoned with both inside the league and nationally.
This year, 10 of TCU's 17 regular season opponents made the NCAA Tournament last season, as four nonconference and six Big 12 foes achieved this feat.
For the first time since 2021, the Frogs will open the season on the road. The 2026 campaign will begin on Aug. 13 when TCU travels to Madison, Wisconsin, for a matchup against the Wisconsin Badgers at 7 p.m. Last year, the Badgers went 14-6-2 and secured a trip to the NCAA Tournament.
Three days later, TCU will play its home opener against UTSA on Aug. 16 at Garvey-Rosenthal Soccer Stadium at 7 p.m. The two teams faced off in August of last year, with the Frogs securing a gritty 1-0 victory in San Antonio.
Following the home opener, TCU will play back-to-back matches against SEC foes, hitting the road to take on Alabama Aug. 20 at 7 p.m. before returning to Fort Worth to face off against Georgia on Aug. 27 at 7 p.m. Both the Crimson Tide and the Bulldogs were able to make the NCAA Tournament, making that four straight opponents TCU will face that qualified for the tournament last season.
The last two matches of the nonconference slate are familiar rivals, as the Frogs first head to College Station to take on Texas A&M on Sept. 3 at 7 p.m. The Frogs, thanks large in part to AJ Hennessey's goal in the closing minutes of the match, defeated the Aggies, 2-1, in the contest last season.
Rounding out the nonconference schedule, TCU will host Texas on Sept. 6 at 7 p.m. Last year's game left no shortage of drama, as the Frogs secured a 3-2 win in the final 10 minutes of action thanks to a Morgan Brown header off a corner kick.
TCU's Big 12 slate will consist of 11 matches, with five of those being played at home and six on the road. Six matches throughout the conference schedule will be against teams who finished in the top eight of the 2025 Big 12 regular season standings.
During last year's regular season, the Frogs also faced off against seven of the teams on this year's conference slate.
TCU will open its conference schedule on Sept. 17 on the road against Oklahoma State at 7 p.m. Following this matchup, TCU will then head to Salt Lake City for a contest against Utah on Sept. 24 at 8 p.m. In 2025, these two teams opened conference play against each other, with TCU garnering a 1-0 victory.
The Frogs will conclude its three-match road swing to open conference play on Sept. 28 against BYU at 8 p.m.
To begin the month of October, TCU will have its first of three straight Big 12 home matchups, facing off against Cincinnati on Oct. 2 at 7 p.m. Nearly a week later, the Frogs will take on UCF on Oct. 8 at 7 p.m.
On Oct. 11, the Frogs are set to take on in-state foe Texas Tech at 1 p.m., marking the first afternoon match of the season for TCU. The Frogs will have two more in-state matches to follow, hitting the road to face Baylor (Oct. 16) and Houston (Oct. 22), with both matches taking place at 7 p.m.
The Frogs will then return home for a tilt against Kansas on Oct. 25 at 1 p.m.
In their last road contest of the regular season and to round out the month of October, the Frogs will hit the road to face off against West Virginia on Oct. 30 at 6 p.m. TCU will then close out the regular season and Big 12 schedule on Nov. 5 against Arizona at 7 p.m.
The Big 12 Soccer Tournament will feature an eight-team single elimination bracket that will take place from Nov. 9-14. The location will be announced later.
