THE GAME
• The TCU Horned Frogs (20-6, 11-4) is back on the road and will take on the Texas Tech Lady Raiders (16-10, 5-10) this Sunday, March 1, in Lubbock.
• Tip-off between the Horned Frogs and Lady Raiders is set for 12 p.m. inside United Supermarkets Arena.
• Sunday's contest will be televised live on Fox Sports Network (FSN).
• Texas Tech won the first meeting between the two teams this season, defeating the Horned Frogs 80-76 in Fort Worth, back on Jan. 8.
FROG FAST BREAKS
• TCU is coming off a tough home loss to Texas, falling 77-67 to the Longhorns this past Wednesday in Fort Worth.
• The Horned Frogs have registered at least 20 wins in a season for the third straight year and for the 14th time in school history overall.
• TCU has posted 20 wins prior to its final regular-season game for a second straight season.
• The Horned Frogs registered 20 wins in 25 games, the program's fastest run to 20 victories since the 2003-04 squad posted 20 wins in 24 contests.
• TCU set a new school record with its 11th Big 12 Conference win. The Horned Frogs, who are now 11-4 in Big 12 play, won 11 conference games for the first time since going 13-3 as a member of the Mountain West Conference back in 2010-11.
• With its win over Oklahoma State last week, TCU secured at least a first-round bye in the upcoming Big 12 Championship (March 13-15). This will be TCU's fourth first-round bye since joining the league, having also earned first-round byes in 2015, 2018 and 2019.
• TCU's defense gave up a season-low 37 points to the Cowgirls on Sunday, which marks the lowest point total for an opponent since the Frogs downed Alcorn State, 88-31, back on Dec. 29, 2018.
• The 37 points is a school record for the least amount of points given up to a Big 12 opponent, surpassing the previous low of 44 points, which happened twice - most recently in a 70-44 win over Kansas back on Feb. 17, 2016.
• Lauren Heard averaged a double-double last week with 16.5 points and 10.0 rebounds, on the way to earning her second Big 12 Player of the Week honor.
• TCU earned its first top-25 ranking of the season, coming in at No. 25 in the Associated Press poll. It marks the first time a TCU squad has been ranked since coming in at No. 24 back on Feb. 4, 2018.

• Texas Tech is coming off a road loss to Oklahoma State, falling 74-58, to the Cowgirls this past Wednesday.
• The Lady Raiders, who have dropped three of its past four games, fell to 16-10 overall and 5-10 in the Big 12 standings.
• Texas Tech heads into Sunday's game in a tie for 8th place with Oklahoma in the Big 12 standings. Both squads are one game back of West Virginia and Oklahoma State, who are tied for 6th place at 6-9.
• Texas Tech is 12-4 in games played inside United Supermarkets Arena this season. The 12 home wins are tied with TCU (12-3) for second most in the conference and three wins shy of Baylor's mark of 15 home victories.
• The Lady Raiders rank among the nation's top-20 teams in assists (17th, 472) and blocked shots (13th, 147). They also rank among the top-50 in field goal percentage (49th, .436), free throw percentage (32nd, .753) and rebounds per game (49th, 40.5).
• Brittany Brewer leads the team in both scoring (16.8) and rebounds (10.2). She has also tallied a school-record 116 blocked shots, which ranks second in the nation - only following BYU's Sara Hamilton's total of 119 blocks.
• Chrislyn Carr has tallied a team-high 121 assists, which also ranks third-most in the Big 12.

• TCU had its four-game winning streak against Texas Tech snapped earlier this season as the Lady Raiders defeated the Horned Frogs, 80-76, back on Jan. 8, in Fort Worth.
• The loss dropped TCU to 12-43 all-time against Texas Tech and 6-17 in Fort Worth.
• The Horned Frogs head into Lubbock with an all-time record of 5-18 against the Lady Raiders.
• TCU has won the previous two meetings against Texas Tech played inside United Supermarkets Arena and three of the past four dating back to the 2015-16 campaign.
THE LAST TIME OUT
• TCU led by as many as 11 points early in the first quarter against Texas this past Wednesday, but a cold shooting second, third and fourth quarters, allowed the Longhorns to come all the way back and down the Horned Frogs 77-67.
• TCU outscored the Longhorns 23-16 in the first half and gave up just 26 points to UT in the first two periods, but Texas managed to open the third quarter with 12-0 run and put up 27 points in the frame alone.
• TCU drained seven three-pointers in the game, managed to pour in 20 free throws, but overall shooting efforts of 23% in the second quarter, 25% in the third quarter and 31% in the fourth quarter proved to be what turned the game around.
• The Horned Frogs were defeated on the boards, 57-27, and Texas managed to pour in 26 second-chance points in the contest.
• Lauren Heard led the team with 19 points and Kianna Ray added 16 points. Jaycee Bradley chipped in with 14 points on the night.
