DALLAS – TCU swimming and diving travels to Dallas for the SMU Invitational, a NCAA three-day championship style meet, from Nov. 21-23.

Order of Events
The SMU Invite is a prelim/final meet with time traits available at the end of each session. Women are odd event numbers. Men are even event numbers.
Evening finals will feature four heats (two Bonus, Consolation and Championship) of each individual event, with the top 16 individual places scoring. In relay events, teams may enter an unlimited number of relays; however, only the top two relays from each team will score. All relays are finals only.

Last Time Out
Two weeks ago, TCU's swimming and diving teams bested the University of the Incarnate Word in its third dual meet of the season. The men won, 159-135, while the women claimed a 166-134 victory.
Three Horned Frogs won two individual events against the Cardinals.
Noah Cumby took the 100 Free (46.20) and 200 Free (1:40.38).
Senior and team captain Claire Munster won the 50 Free (23.78) and 100 Free (51.98).
Janis Silins finished first in the 100 Breast (55.56) and 200 Breast (2:02.45).
Both Cumby and Silins also contributed to the 200 Medley Relay team that claimed first place. Munster was a part of the first-place women's 200 Medley team as well.
Record Holders
Izzy Ashdown broke two school record en route to first-place finishes on both boards against UIW. On 1-Meter, Ashdown's 323.625 bested Kirsten Connolly's 2016 record of 321.30. In 3-Meter, the Sydney, Australia native's 362.175 edged Kelly Seely's 360.15 that had stood since 2006.
TCU currently has two short course record holders on its roster between Cumby (100 and 200 Free) and Joao Andrade (500 Free).
NCAA Zones Cuts
Connie Deighton registered her first NCAA qualifying scores of the season on both boards against UIW. The sophomore scored a 276 on 1-Meter and 306.375 on 3-Meter.
Faith Harms-Zacharias has registered three NCAA qualifying scores on 1-meter in 2019, coming at the TYR Fall Classic, the Malibu Classic and the SMU dual meet. The freshman also earned a zone cut on 3-meter in TCU's home opener against UT Permian Basin.
Ashdown has four NCAA Zone cuts on 3-meter and three zone cuts on 1-meter.
