School Records Culminate SMU Invite

DALLAS— TCU's swimming and diving teams wrapped up the SMU Invite on Saturday in Dallas. The women placed third while the men finished in fourth place.
Record Breakers
The men's 400 Free Relay team of Noah Cumby, Rasmus Pederson, Jackson Boersma and Dusan Babic swam a 2:57.47 en route to breaking a record that had stood since 2014.
Piotr Sadlowski broke a long course record during Sunday's time trials. The freshman clocked a 53.95 in the 100 Fly.
NCAA Zone Cuts
Janis Silins' 100 Breast (54.08) and 200 Breast (1:57.24) times granted him NCAA 'B' cuts.
Izzy Ashdown took both 1- and 3-meter boards en route to two NCAA Zone qualifying scores. Ashdown registered a 305.85 in 1-meter and a 304.95 on 3-meter.
Diving Finals
Connie Deighton reached finals in 3-meter diving, improving one spot from her prelim seeding and placing seventh with a 244.10.
In platform diving, both Deighton and freshman Graciela Liang qualified for the 'A' final. Deighton finished third while Liang placed seventh.
