Represented TCU at the NCAA Zone D Diving Championships (March 7-9) … Qualified for the A final on 1-meter, 3-meter and platform at the Big 12 Championships, the only Horned Frog to do so (Feb. 23-26) … Placed second on both 1-meter and 3-meter against Iowa State (Jan. 14-15) … Finished third on platform at the SMU Invite with a score of 226.80 (Nov. 18-20) … Won on 1-meter with a score of 277.42 against UIW (Sept. 24).
Junior (2020-21)
Qualified for the NCAA Zone D meet and finished 18th in the 1-meter preliminaries with a score of 256.40 (March 13)… Earned a third-place finish in both the 1-meter and 3-meter dives against Kansas (Oct. 17)… Registered a zone qualifying score in the 1-meter with a score of 265.28 against Texas A&M (Nov. 6)... Notched a win in the 3-meter dive against Florida State with a score of 266.30 (Nov. 13)… Finished fourth in the platform dive with a team-leading score of 251.40 at the Big 12 Championships (Feb. 24-28).
Freshman (2018-19)
Placed second in the 1-meter (271.05) and 3-meter dives (265.58) at the Big 12 opener at Kansas (Oct. 27) … swept the 1-meter (276.40) and 3-meter dives (287.15) against Incarnate Word and North Texas in San Antonio (Jan. 26) … placed second in the 1-meter B dive (258.45) at the Big 12 Championships (Feb. 27-March 2) ... Placed sixth in the 1-meter dive (222.52) and in the 3-meter dive (229.05) at the vs. SMU meet in Fort Worth (Oct.25) ... Registered her first NCAA Qualifying scores in the 1-meter (276) and in the 3-meter (306.375) at the vs. UIW meet in Fort Worth (Nov.8).
Personal
Deighton comes to TCU from London, England, where she competed in international diving. In 2017, she was the 1-meter English Age Group National Champion and runner-up in the 3-meter. She was a finalist at the 2017 Open Croatian Summer Champs.
