Finished fifth in the 100 backstroke with a time of 49.29 at the Big 12 Championships (Feb. 23-26) … Placed fourth in the 200 backstroke against Texas A&M (Nov. 5) … Earned a third-place finish in the 100 backstroke against SMU (Oct. 29) … Won the 100 backstroke against UT Permian Basin with a time of 51.76 (Oct. 9).
Junior (2019-20)
Placed second in the 100 yard IM (53.39) and first in the 50 yard freestyle (21.83), was part of the 400 yard freestyle relay and placed first (3:15.98) in the vs. UTPB Meet in Fort Worth (Sep. 20). Finished third in the 200 yard freestyle (1:43.21) and was part of the 400 yard freestyle relay and finished fourth (3:12.30) at the vs. SMU meet in Fort Worth (Oct. 25) ... Finished first in the 100 yard bastroke (50.82), and fifth in the 100 yard freestyle (47.32), contributed to the first place finish in the 800 yard freestyle relay (6:49.18) at the vs. UIW meet in Fort Worth (Nov.8).
Sophomore (2018-19)
Won the 50 back (27.17) in season opener at home with UT-Permian Basin (Sept. 22) … part of the 400 medley relay that finished fourth (3:25.77), part of the 400 free team that finished fourth (3:07.73), part of 200 medley relay that placed fourth (134.35), placed second in the 200 free (1:41.23) and third in the 100 back (51.10) at the TYR Fall Classic in Miami (Oct. 5-6) … won the 50 back (24.05) in home meet vs. Trinity (Nov. 10) … placed second in the 100 back (52.00) and third in 200 back (1:54.92) at home vs. Ouachita Baptist (Dec. 8) … part of the 400 medley team that placed third (3:27.12) fifth in the 500 free (4:48.00), was part of the 200 free relay that finished third (1:25.41), recorded a fifth-place finish in the 200 free (1:44.98) and fifth in the 200 free I1:44.98) at West Virginia (Jan. 12) … part of the 800 free relay team that finished second (6:33.22), part of 400 medley relay relay team that finished third (3:15.55), part of 400 free relay team that finished third (2:58.65), placed seventh in the 200 free (1:38.16) and finished seventh in the 500 free (4:24.65) at the Big 12 Championships in Austin (Feb. 27-March 3).

Andrade is a three-time Brazilian Junior National Champion. He has produced personal-best (converted) times of 4:24.6 in the 500 free, 1:37.8 in the 200 free, 1:46.4 in the 200 back, and 49.3 in the 100 back.
