Team Notes
* TCU improved to 10-1, matching the second-best start in program history. It's the seventh time the Horned Frogs have opened a season with a record of 10-1 or better. Only the 2014-15 team, at 13-0, started a campaign better.
* The Horned Frogs improved to 8-0 at home.
* TCU featured the same starting lineup (Jaylen Fisher, Alex Robinson, Kenrich Williams, J.D. Miller and Vladimir Brodziansky) for the second straight game.
* TCU had season-high numbers for offensive rebounds (17), defensive boards (33) and total rebounds (50).
* TCU's 96 points marked its second-best total of the season, trailing only the 98 versus Alabama State.
* The Horned Frogs led 40-26 at the half and are now 9-0 this season when ahead at the break.
* TCU had four players in double figures with Chris Washburn (15), Alex Robinson (13 points), Jaylen Fisher (12) and Kenrich Williams (12).
* All 14 Horned Frogs who dressed for the game saw action with 12 scoring.
* TCU improved to 3-1 in its all-time series versus Texas Southern.
* TCU's next contest, Wednesday versus Bradley at 8 p.m., will be its next-to-last nonconference game of the season. The Horned Frogs host Auburn Jan. 28.
Individual Notes
* Chris Washburn had season-best totals of 15 points and nine rebounds in just 11 minutes. He also equaled a season-high with two assists.
* Washburn's 15 points were his most in a game since Feb. 2 of last season at Oklahoma.
* Kenrich Williams scored 12 points to reach double figures for the fifth time in the last six games.
* Jaylen Fisher's 12 points put him in double figures for the sixth straight contest.
* Alex Robinson had five assists to give him five straight games with at least that number.
* Josh Parrish scored six points in 10 minutes for his first collegiate points.
* Austin Sottile scored for the first time in his collegiate career with two points in six minutes.
