TCU 54, Boise State 52
Fort Worth, Texas (Daniel-Meyer Coliseum)
Jan. 21, 2011
Attendance: 4,995
* TCU improved to 11-7 overall and 1-2 in Mountain West conference play while ending a two-game losing streak.
* TCU improved to 5-2 all-time in MW home openers.
* Boise State's 15-point lead marked the largest deficit overcome by the Frogs in victory in head coach Jim Christian's TCU tenure and the largest overall since erasing an 18-point deficit in a home win over New Mexico on Jan. 15, 2008.
* The previous largest comeback in Christian's tenure was 12 points against Texas A&M Corpus Christi on Dec. 6, 2008. TCU now has totaled four double-digit comebacks under Christian, including a 10-point deficit earlier this season against Rice (Jan. 4).
* TCU shot 48.1 percent in the second half of Saturday's game after posting a rate of only 28.0 percent in the first period.
* TCU held Boise State without a field goal for a period of 11:41 in the second half, the longest for the Frogs on defense this season.
* TCU improved to 8-1 this season in games decided by six points or fewer. The squad was 2-5 in such contests last season.
* Kyan Anderson led TCU in scoring for the second straight game and third time overall this season with a game-high 16 points.
* Anderson equaled his career high with three 3-pointers.
* Hank Thorns scored 10 of his 12 points in the second half. He has reached double figures in the second period seven times this season.
* Thorns, who collected three assists, is now only five shy of 500 for his career. He also moved to within 17 helpers of 10th place on TCU's career assists list (321)
* TCU featured a different starting lineup for the first time since its Dec. 19 loss at USC. The lineup of Hank Thorns, Kyan Anderson, J.R. Cadot, Garlon Green and Adrick McKinney marked its fifth different starting combination this season.
