FORT WORTH--TCU looks to return to its winning ways Saturday when the squad travels to Houston, Texas, for a 7 p.m. matchup against the in-state rival Houston Cougars at Hofheinz Pavilion.
The Horned Frogs aim to rebound from two straight losses suffered in the final two games of last week's appearance at the Paradise Jam in the Virgin Islands. Following a big win over Virginia, the Frogs dropped a 66-43 decision to Norfolk State followed by an 80-69 setback to Ole Miss.
TCU and UH, former conference rivals in both the Southwest Conference (1976-96) and Conference USA (2002-05), will be meeting for the third straight season and the 72nd time overall. The Frogs won last year's contest in Fort Worth, 79-63, and have taken four of the last six matchups since the 2003-04 season.
TCU's matchup against the Cougars can be heard live on the radio throughout the Metroplex on both 1460 AM KCLE and 88.7 FM KTCU with Brian Estridge (play-by-play) and John Denton (analyst) serving as the play-by-play team. Link to both the live radio Internet feed and GameTracker will be available via TCU's official athletics website, GoFrogs.com.

LAST TIME WE MET: TCU 79, HOUSTON 63
Three Frogs scored in double figures, and TCU earned its first victory over Houston since 2005 during a 79-63 victory over the Cougars on Nov. 27, 2010 at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum.
The Frogs snapped a two-game skid against the Cougars in grand style, recording their second-largest margin of victory ever against UH. TCU led by five points at intermission before putting the game out of reach early in the second half. The Frogs led by as many as 22 points late in the contest.
Ronnie Moss scored a game-high 17 points to lead TCU. Garlon Green had an efficient day from the field, making 7-of-11 field-goal attempts, including 2-of-3 from 3-point range, while scoring 16 points. J.R. Cadot fell just shy of a double-double with 11 points and a game-high nine rebounds.
TCU put the game away in the second half with a 12-2 run that pushed the lead to 16 points with just over 10 minutes remaining. The spurt featured a trio of Frog 3-pointers, one each from outside by Green and Moss and another inside with a foul on Sammy Yeager. Yeager's play was typical of TCU's attacking style of offense in the second half. The Frogs, who shot a season-high 26 free throws overall in the contest, went to the line 19 times following intermission.
