FORT WORTH--TCU returns to action following a weeklong break Tuesday when it plays host to UNLV for a 6:30 p.m. tip-off at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum. The contest will be televised live by The MountainWest Sports Network (The Mtn.).
Currently tied for first place in the Mountain West Conference standings with BYU, the Lady Frogs begin their final four-game stretch of the regular season at home against the Rebels. The squad will try to regroup from a road loss suffered last Tuesday to San Diego State that snapped a four-game winning streak. TCU will have history on its side Tuesday, owning a perfect 6-0 all-time record at home against UNLV. The team is 13-0 at the DMC in 2009-10.
The Rebels enter the matchup having dropped two straight outings following a strong stretch of four wins in five games that included wins at New Mexico and at home against San Diego State. The squad has fared better on the road (3-3) in league play than at home (2-5).
TCU will be making its 11th television appearance of 2009-10 and the last of eight consecutive telecasts. The Mtn. broadcast will feature the play-by-play tandem of Erin Bajackson (play-by-play) and Linda Sharp (analyst).
Tuesday's matchup also will be broadcast live on the radio throughout the Metroplex on 88.7 KTCU-FM with Jeff Williams (play-by-play) and Jeff Lewis (analyst) calling the action. An Internet radio feed and link to live statistics will be available on game day via GoFrogs.com.
