TEAM NOTES
TCU moved to 3-0 on the season, which marks the third time under head coach Jeff Mittie the Horned Frogs have accomplished that feat.
The Frogs have outscored UTSA in three meetings, 234-177.
TCU's 24 point victory was the largest margin of victory in the series. The Horned Frogs own a 3-0 all-time mark in the series.
The Horned Frogs forced UTSA into 32 three-point attempts Friday night, which is the third-most ever recorded against TCU. The Purple and White's strong defensive pressure held the Roadrunners to 25 percent from behind the arc.
PLAYER NOTES
Senior Emily Carter, who went 10-of-10 in the first half at the charity stripe, saw her streak of 60-straight free throws end in the second half.
Carter moved into No. 2 all-time in the NCAA record books for consecutive free throws made. The Louisiana native tied former Penn State great Adrienne Squire, who connected on 60-straight between 2004-06.
Sophomore DeLisa Gross posted a career-high in rebounds against UTSA with 11.
Starr Crawford recorded her eighth double-double of her career and third-straight with 17 points and 12 rebounds.
Freshman Meagan Henson scored her first career bucket halfway through the second half.
Briesha Wynn posted career-best marks in points (8), minutes (22), rebounds (8), field goals made (3), and attempted (9).
