- Tonight is just the third time in the seven years of the conference tournament the four seed has won the quarterfinal game.
- Wyoming guards Jodi Bolerjack and Erin Hicks combined to score 11 of the team's first 13 points of the game.
- Tonight marks the 20th time this season TCU sophomore guard Adrianne Ross has been in double figures in scoring, ending the game with 11.
- Wyoming sophomore forward Hanna Zavecz notched a career-high in rebounds with 15. It is the third time this season she has been in double figures in rebounds. (Previous career-high 13 vs. TCU, 1/7/06). Her 15 is the third most in a MWC Tournament game.
- Wyoming cut the deficit to single digits at the 11:59 mark of the second-half, closing within eight at 40-32. It was the first time the lead was less than 10 points since the 14:18 point of the first half (11-3).
- TCU junior guard Natasha Lacy has reached double figures in scoring in nine straight games and in 13 of the last 14 contests.
- Hicks four three-pointers ties for fifth most in a Mountain West Tournament game, tying nine other student-athletes. Her .800 (4-5) from beyond the arc is the second-best performance in tournament history (minimum five attempts).
- TCU shot .538 for the game from the three-point line (7-13), the third best performance in a tournament single-game and the record for a quarterfinal contest (.500 (11-22), BYU vs. San Diego State, 3/8/00).
- The six blocked shots by TCU ties for the fourth most in a MWC Tournament game, tying four other institutions.
