ABOUT THE GAME
The TCU Lady Frogs (6-5, 0-0) kick off Mountain West Conference play Saturday in Laramie, Wyo., when they take on the Wyoming Cowgirls (10-2, 0-1) at 3 p.m. CST. TCU has won its last four contests and is coming off a 74-52 decision over Cornell on Monday. The Cowgirls suffered just their second loss of the season Thursday when they fell 65-56 at UNLV to open league competition. It also snapped Wyoming's eight-game winning streak. The Cowgirls' only other loss on the season came by a 65-55 score to Kansas State on Nov. 28.

THE TCU-WYOMING SERIES
Saturday marks the sixth all-time meeting between Wyoming and TCU and the first since the 1998-99 season. The Lady Frogs are 3-2 versus the Cowgirls and have won the last three match ups. TCU upended Wyoming 88-73 in Laramie, Wyo., in the last meeting on Feb. 13, 1999. Wyoming's last victory came on Dec. 9, 1993, in Laramie by an 81-71 score.
