NEXT UP ON THE TCU DOCKET
The TCU Lady Frogs (10-7, 4-2 MWC) look to rebound from a three-point loss to BYU on Wednesday when they host the Utah Utes (13-4, 4-2) at 2 p.m. CST in Daniel-Meyer Coliseum. While TCU is in its first year with the Mountain West, the Lady Frogs and Utes have faced one another in two of the previous three seasons.
LAST TIME OUT FOR TCU AND UTAH
TCU held a 51-44 lead with a little over 10 minutes remaining Wednesday against No. 20/20 BYU but could not overcome a 20-3 Cougar run. Natasha Lacy recorded her second double-double in a row for TCU with 11 points and 12 rebounds, while BYU's Ambrosia Anderson tallied 24 and 10 in the Cougars' 67-64 victory.
Utah grabbed a 59-51 win over UNLV in Las Vegas on Saturday. Mountain West Conference Preseason Player of the Year Kim Smith racked up 21 points and pulled down six rebounds. Fellow preseason all-conference team member Shona Thorburn finished with 16 and six and went 11-for-12 from the free-throw line.

THE TCU-UTAH SERIES
Utah owns a 3-1 edge in the all-time series and won the last meeting 85-72 on Dec. 11, 2004, in Salt Lake City. The Utes shot 15-for-21 (.714) on threes in the game, third best in school history by a TCU opponent. TCU's lone victory over Utah came at home on Nov. 22, 2002, in its season opener by a 54-51 score.
