THE TCU-SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA SERIES
TCU and Southern California met for the first time last December in Fort Worth, Texas, and the Lady Frogs will be looking for some payback this time around. The Lady Frogs led for all but 3.6 seconds in the game, and unfortunately it was the final ticks of a 71-70 loss. Jamie Hagiya hit a short jumper from the right side of the basket that capped a 10-2 run over the final five minutes of the game. The Lady Frogs launched a pass on the final inbounds that traveled three quarters of the court to Sandora Irvin. She was able to break free toward the basket, but her left-handed layup came up a little short and rolled off the rim as time expired.
