Natascha Hartvich enters her third season as a graduate assistant at TCU in 2020-21. She arrived in Fort Worth after a successful playing career that included time playing under Raegan Pebley.
Hartvich, a native of Rungsted Kyst, Denmark, has spent the last year working in corporate financing after finishing her playing career at Vanguard University in Costa Mesa, Calif.
Her collegiate career began at Fresno State where she played for two seasons, including spending her freshman season under Pebley in 2013-14. Hartvich played in 29 games for the Bulldogs before transferring to Vanguard. She then helped the Lions to a combined 55-11 record in two seasons, including two NAIA Division I Championships appearances, including a semifinal appearance as a senior in 2016-17.
Internationally, Hartvich made her debut with the Denmark senior team in 2015. That came after she captained four youth team, playing at the U16 level in 2009 and 2010 and at the U18 level in 2011 and 2012. She also won both cup and national championships at the high school level for Rungsted Gymnasium.
Hartvich played her prep career at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla., for Shell Dailey, a former head coach at TCU from 1993-96.
Hartvich, who goes by the name Taz, earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Vanguard in 2017. She is pursuing an MBA from TCU’s prestigious Neeley School of Business.
