Recipient of the Big 12’s Lage Award… Named to NABC Honors Court… Played in three games and totaled three minutes… Blocked two shots against Florida A&M (12/21/25).
2024-25 | SOPHOMORE SEASON
Played a minute in each of the two games he appeared… Made a 3-pointer in his only field goal attempt for the season against Montana State (12/22/24)… Also brought down a rebound against MSU.
PREP CAREER
Earned first team all-district and academic all-district honors as a senior… Led the DFW area with eight assists per game… Averaged 15 points and six rebounds per game while shooting 42 percent from three… Was named DFW Scholar-Athlete of the Week… Helped Highland Park to the state semifinals as a sophomore in 2021.

Born July 27, 2004… Son of Laura Blackman and Andy McElroy… Has one sister… Cousin, Ben McElroy, played baseball at Texas State… Majoring in finance-real estate… Spent Summer of 2026 interning with Koch Real Estate Investments… Started playing basketball in elementary school and was inspired by older players in the community… Favorite players are T.J. McConnell and Payton Pritchard… Favorite basketball moment was hitting his first 3-pointer at TCU against Montana State and beating No. 5 Iowa State… When not playing basketball, enjoys traveling to new places, playing golf and experiencing new restaurants and cultures… Wants to pursue a career in commercial real estate.
