Played in all 33 games while starting 32... Averaged 12.5 points and 4.1 rebounds per game, both the third-best on the team... Led the Big 12 by shooting 46.1 percent from 3-point range and became the first TCU player to lead his conference in 3-point shooting since Ryan Carroll shot a WAC-best 43.0 percent in 1998-99... Averaged 1.8 3-point makes per game, the 13th-best in the Big 12... Made at least one 3-pointer in 30 of 33 games... Scored at least 10 points 27 times and at least 20 points three times... Led TCU in scoring five times... Scored a season-high 27 points on a season-best 10-of-15 shooting at Iowa State (2/21/18)... Was named to the Emerald Coast Classic All-Tournament Team after scoring 11 points against New Mexico and 12 points against St. Bonaventure to help TCU win the tournament title... 2016-17 | FRESHMAN SEASON
Played in all 39 games while starting 13... Started the final four games of the NIT... Named Big 12 Men's Basketball Newcomer of the Week after scoring 18 points and grabbing seven rebounds against Bradley... Averaged 7.1 points and 2.9 rebounds per game for the season... Tied for the team-lead in 3-point percentage at .380 (30-for-79)... Scored a season-high 19 points against Alabama State (11/14/16)... Grabbed a season-high seven rebounds twice, against Jacksonville State (11/18/16) and Bradley (12/21/16)... Drained three 3-pointers in four different games... TCU was 10-1 in games where he scored at least 10 points... Led TCU in scoring three times... With the game tied, 82-82, sank all three free throws with two seconds remaining to lead TCU to an 85-82 win over No. 1 Kansas in the quarterfinals of the Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship (3/9/17) and finished with 16 points... Was 4-for-4 from the free throw line in the final 24 seconds of TCU's 94-92 win at Iowa (3/17/17) in the second round of the NIT.
PREP CAREER
Played at Seton Catholic High School in Indiana... Played AAU for Indiana Elite, averaged 30.0 points, 11.5 rebounds, 6.1 assists and 3.2 blocks per game during his senior season en route to leading the Cardinals to a 23-4 overall record and a regional appearance... Since 2013, Bane, who had a career-high 62-point outing his senior season, tallied a double-double, averaging 24.9 points per game and 10.6 rebounds, while scoring over 1,900 points during his prep career... Guided Seton Catholic to three sectional championships and was named Most Outstanding Player at the prestigious Bob Wettig Tournament after shooting 84 percent from three... The all-time leading scorer in Wayne County boys basketball history... Was a Supreme-15 selection by the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association, while also being named a Mr. Basketball candidate in Indiana... An Indianapolis Star Indiana All-Star and all-state selection by the Associate Press... Earned All-USA Indiana First-Team honors in 2015-16...
