Named a top five finalist for Lieberman Award and to the Wooden Award National Ballot
FORT WORTH – Olivia Miles is among the final frontrunners for the highest individual honors in college basketball ahead of the NCAA Tournament.
Miles was named one of five finalists for the Nancy Lieberman Point Guard of the Year Award on Monday as determined by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) and Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame.
She was also tabbed to the 2026 Women's National Ballot for the John R. Wooden Award one day earlier. Miles was one of 15 players to earn a spot on the ballot.
Nancy Lieberman Award
The other finalists for the Lieberman Award are Rori Harmon (Texas), Hannah Hidalgo (Notre Dame), Raven Johnson (South Carolina) and Tonie Morgan (Kentucky).
Miles is now a Lieberman Award finalist for the second time in her career. The 5-10 graduate student garnered the accolade at Notre Dame in 2024-25. She is the first TCU player to receive final consideration for the award.
The five finalists will be presented to Lieberman and the Basketball Hall of Fame selection committee to determine a winner ahead of the 2026 NCAA Women's Final Four in Phoenix, Arizona.
Fans are encouraged to participate in fan voting for the remaining rounds on hoophallawards.com, starting on Friday, March 12. The fan vote counts as one committee vote during the finalist selection process.
John R. Wooden Award
Chosen by a pair of national college basketball experts, the players featured on the Wooden Award National Ballot are strong contenders to feature on the Wooden Award All-America Team in addition to claiming Wooden Award Most Outstanding Player honors.
Miles has now made the Wooden Award national ballot in each of her last three completed seasons on the court. She first cracked the final 15 as a sophomore in 2022-23.
