Loss snaps TCU’s 63-match home winning streak

FORT WORTH – In a midday, midweek, matchup, the seventh-ranked TCU beach volleyball team fell to No. 2 Stanford, 4-1, on Wednesday afternoon at TCU Beach Volleyball Courts.

The loss snapped TCU's 63-match win streak at home.

To open up the match, Stanford (17-2) took courts four and five over TCU (12-5) to open up an early lead and put the Horned Frogs' backs against the wall.

In the next wave of matches, the Cardinal took Flight 1 and 2 to secure the victory.

To close out the match, Sofia Izuzquiza and Stacy Reeves were able to salvage a point for the Horned Frogs at No. 3.
