Horned Frogs set for two road Big 12 matchups
FORT WORTH – Currently sitting tied at the top of the league standings through six matches in conference play, the 25th-ranked TCU women's tennis team will hit the road for two contests, going up against Oklahoma State on Friday at 5 p.m. and Kansas State on Sunday at 12 p.m.
LAST TIME OUT
TCU split last weekend's slate against Kansas and Iowa State, dropping the match against the Jayhawks, 4-3, but then rebounding and grabbing a 4-0 victory against the Cyclones. The Frogs currently sit at 11-2 overall and 5-1 in Big 12 play going into the fourth weekend of conference competition.
IN ELITE COMPANY
Cayetana Gay has been dominant through TCU's 11-2 start to the dual season. The sophomore is currently the only player in the Big 12 to be undefeated and dual singles and doubles and have played a minimum of five contests in both. The Madrid, Spain, native sits at 7-0 in singles and 5-0 in doubles play.
COME ON CRIS
Cristina Ramos Sierra is another Frog who has been off to a super start in the dual season. Looking forward to this weekend, Oklahoma State sits as the No. 26 team in the ITA national rankings. The sophomore currently sits at 8-0 in singles play and has put together some impressive and resilient performances in the middle of the singles lineup for TCU to begin conference play.
HISTORY AGAINST THE COWGIRLS
The Frogs are looking to turn their luck in Stillwater this weekend. Since joining the Big 12, the Frogs picked up their last victory over the Cowgirls away from home in 2012.

TCU is 14-3 in its history going up versus Kansas State. The two teams last faced off the previous season in Fort Worth, with TCU coming away with a 4-1 victory. The Frogs hold a perfect 5-0 record against Kansas State in away matches.
