TCU extends its winning streak to 13
BATON ROUGE, La. - The No. 2 ranked TCU beach volleyball team knocked off No. 1 UCLA, 3-0 on Saturday morning at the Death Volley Invitational.
TCU went 3-0 in the event with all three wins against top-10 teams. TCU's win streak is now at 13 matches in a row.
The win marked TCU's first win over a No. 1 ranked team since 2022 which happened to be UCLA as well.
Due to time constraints the match was played to clinch but TCU had match point on four and was heading into a third set on one.
Quick Hits Against No. 1 UCLA
• Deniela Konstantinova and Olivia Clines were the first pair to finish for the Frogs as they took down Cooper and Smith on five, 21-15, 22-20.
• Allanis Navas and Sofia Izuzquiza extended TCU's lead to two as they won on three over Bower and Alden, 23-21, 21-8. The pair is now 10-0 in 2025.
• Maria Gonzalez and Stacy Reeves clinched the match for the Frogs as they won on court two over Myszkowski/Brennan, 21-18, 22-20.
