Eighth-ranked Horned Frogs continue homestand vs. Dolphins at 4 p.m. on Sunday

FORT WORTH – TCU plays its penultimate nonconference home game on Sunday when it hosts Jacksonville at 4 p.m.

The Horned Frogs have won 31 straight home games – the second-longest streak in college basketball – and 33 straight nonleague affairs inside Schollmaier Arena dating back to December of 2022.

TCU and Jacksonville are meeting for the first time on the hardwood.

The Frogs will play three home games in a seven-day span beginning with Sunday's ballgame. TCU wraps up its home nonconference slate on Tuesday vs. Arkansas-Pine Bluff before opening Big 12 play on Saturday, Dec. 20 vs. Kansas State.

The Horned Frogs have scored at least 80 points in 54 percent of their home games (26-48) since 2023-24.
Campbell-led TCU teams average 10.4 three-pointers per game at home. TCU has reached double figures in deep balls in 25 home games over the last three seasons. The Horned Frogs are 24-1 at Schollmaier Arena when finishing with at least 10 triples.
TCU's Marta Suarez, Olivia Miles and Donovyn Hunter are the nation's third highest-scoring trio. They collectively are averaging 50.7 points per game. Only Western Illinois, Murray State and South Carolina have higher-scoring trifectas than TCU.
Suarez (18.9 ppg), Miles (17.7 ppg) and Hunter (14.1 ppg) are one of only eight threesomes all averaging at least 14 points per game.
The TCU teammate trio has combined to score 50-plus in seven of TCU's 10 wins. All three players have reached double figures in eight games.
Hunter and Suarez boast respective 3-point percentages of .426 and .419 and have both drilled 26 threes. They make TCU one of only two teams with two players shooting it better than 40 percent from distance with at least 20 threes to their names.

Is averaging career-highs in points per game (17.7), assists per game (7.4) and steals per game (2.1) while connecting at a 50.4 percent clip from the field.
Continues to be the only player in college basketball averaging at least 15 points, seven assists and six rebounds per game.
Leads all D1 players in career 15-and-5 games (41), assist per game average (6.6) and triple-doubles (7).
Miles' teams have won 23 straight games when she finished with at least 15 points and five assists.
Extended her NCAA record for consecutive games with 15 points and five assists to start a season to 10 on Dec. 6 vs. UTEP.

Marta Suarez

Donovyn Hunter

Along with Suarez, Hunter is one of only four players in the nation averaging at least 13 points and 2.5 threes per game while connecting above a 50 percent clip from the field and 40 percent from deep.

Maddie Scherr

Leads college basketball in assist-to-turnover ratio (4.88).
Has produced a 9-1 assist-to-turnover ratio (27-3) over her last six outings.
Is averaging five assists per game inside Schollmaier Arena. Only Miles (8.1 apg) has a better assist per game average at home among TCU players.
Knocked down five-plus 3-pointers and eclipsed the 20-point threshold for the second time this season vs. UTEP in her most recent outing; finished with 21 points on 5-6 shooting from deep along with five assists and four rebounds.

Clara Silva

Has pulled down at least eight rebounds in seven games
Ranks in the top-10 in the Big 12 in both blocks per game (4th, 1.8) and blocks per game (6th, 7.5).
The 6-7 center is one of only two Big 12 players averaging at least 7.5 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game.

Taylor Bigby

Leading scorer off the bench in seven of TCU's 10 victories.

Series Notes: Jacksonville

Sunday's game is the first-ever meeting between the Horned Frogs and Dolphins on the hardwood. In addition, it marks just the fourth time TCU women's basketball has faced off with an active member of the Atlantic Sun Conference. TCU last faced a team from the ASUN on Nov. 7, 2022 in its 2022-23 season-opener against Lipscomb. The Horned Frogs earned a 69-62 victory over the Bison.
Moreover, Horned Frog women's basketball will become only the second TCU intercollegiate athletics program to compete against Jacksonville when the ball tips on Sunday. The only other TCU team to the face the Dolphins is beach volleyball, which has thrice battled and defeated Jacksonville, most recently on March, 18, 2023.
The Horned Frogs are 3-0 all-time vs. the ASUN. Their other two victories came at the expense of Florida Gulf Coast (2013) and Central Arkansas (2020).
Versus teams from the state of Florida, TCU holds a 15-4 all-time record. Of the victories, six have come at the expense of UCF. South Florida is TCU's most frequented foe in the Sunshine State. The programs have faced off seven times, with TCU holding a 5-2 edge in the all-time series. The Horned Frogs also hold victories against Florida, Florida Atlantic, Florida State.
