FORT WORTH – Tenth-ranked TCU blitzed UCF behind the arc and bulldozed its way to a 90-81 win over the Knights on Tuesday in Schollmaier Arena.
The Horned Frogs began the game 6-8 from long range and tallied 15 three-pointers by the time the final horn sounded. The scalding shooting stroke staked TCU to a 26-8 advantage less than six minutes into the ballgame. The Frogs led by as many as 23 points midway through the third.
The 15 deep balls set a program record for most 3-pointers in a Big 12 game. TCU also assisted on a 29 of its 32 made field goals, good for a Mark Campbell era single-game record and the second-most in a game in 48 years of existence.
TCU improved to 18-1 overall and 6-0 in Big 12 action. The Horned Frogs remain one of only two unbeatens in league play ahead of a top 25 showdown vs. No. 23 Utah at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
Sedona Prince tallied a team-high 27 points on 11-15 shooting and seven rebounds. Prince hit her first seven shots. She went 4-4 from the field and netted 10 points in the fourth.

Madison Conner (14 points) and Donovyn Hunter (12 points) gave TCU four double-digit scorers.
Conner converted 4-9 looks from deep.
TCU led 87-71 with 3:23 to go. An 10-0 run by UCF (7-9, 0-6 Big 12) over the ensuing 2:22 made the game's final moments tenser than desired. TCU, which finished with a 2.5 assist-to-turnover ratio for the game, committed four giveaways in that span. The Horned Frogs led for more than 39 minutes and never trailed.
The Frogs doubled up the Knights, 16-8, barely over four minutes into the evening via four 3-pointers, two of which came from Van Lith. Conner's second 3-pointer of the frame staked TCU to its 26-8 edge at the 3:27 mark and capped a 13-0 run. TCU began the game 10-12 from the field.
Consecutive buckets by Hunter closed the quarter and gave TCU a 30-19 cushion entering the second period. TCU notched a Campbell era record for first quarter points scored.
Van Lith's fourth 3-pointer of the first half swelled the lead to 36-21. Six points from Prince and an Agnes Emma-Nnopu triple helped TCU take a 15-point lead into the locker room.
TCU took its first 20-point lead of the outing via a Conner three and layup from Prince on its first two possessions of the second half. The Horned Frogs and Knights each scored 20 points in the third quarter.
UCF was led by a game-high 33 points from Kaitlin Peterson, who leads the Big 12 in scoring (21 ppg).
