TCU set for home conference match
FORT WORTH – The TCU women's tennis team (7-2, 3-0) is set to host the UCF Knights on Sunday, March 10 at 3 p.m. at Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center.

Frog Focus
The Horned Frogs are coming off a 7-0 win over Houston on Friday. The win marked the first time in program history TCU has opened conference play with three sweeps. The Frogs are 7-2 overall and 3-0 in Big 12 play, with wins over West Virginia, Cinciannti and Houston.
Agsinst Houston, the Horned Frogs secured the doubles win with courts on one and two. Chiho Mushika and Yu-Chin Tsai earned the first win of the afternoon and sixth straight victory as a duo with a 6-4 set on court one. Jade Otway and Isabel Pascual clinched the doubles point and advanced to 5-1 as a pair with a 6-4 win on court two.
Otway took care of business on court one taking down her Cougar opponent 6-2, 6-0 on court one. The junior is now 7-0 in singles this season. Tsai was quick to follow with a 6-1, 6-1 win over Houstons Gabriela Cortes on court four. The clinch point came from Pascual on court two earning her sixth straight win of the season 6-0, 6-3.
Helena Narmont moved to 3-0 on court five with a 6-1, 6-4 over her Houston opponent before Raquel Caballero Chica took care of business on court six 6-3, 6-3.
Destinee Martins wrapped up the evening with a battle on court three. The senior fought back to take the match after dropping her first set (3-6, 6-2, 6-3).
Scouting the Opposition
UCF fell to No. 32 Baylor 4-2 in Waco on Friday night. The Knights are 3-8 this season and 0-3 in Big 12 play. The all time series between TCU and UCF is tied at 3-3 with the latest matchup coming from February 2023 in Florida where the Frogs fell 0-4.
