The Horned Frogs showcased exceptional performances at two meets – the New Mexico Collegiate Classic (Feb. 2-3) in Albuquerque, N.M. and the Bruce Lehane Scarlet & White Invite (Feb. 3) in Boston.
Elise Dobson broke her own pentathlon school record at the New Mexico Collegiate Classic with 3,747 points. Dobson achieved a personal-record in the 60m hurdles (8.81) and a personal-best 1.70m (5-7) in the high jump en route to her record-breaking performance.
In the men's heptathlon, Joel McFarlane rewrote the school record with his 5,383 points. His personal-bests in the 60 (6.99) and 60m hurdles (8.46) guided him to a fourth-place finish.
Also breaking their own school records were Benjamin Kirbo and Gracie Morris. For the third time in three meets, Kirbo recorded a personal-best in the pole vault with his height of 5.25m (17-2.75) for the new best mark in program history. Morris' new best time of 4:38.73 is the new school record in the mile as well.
Kashie Crockett placed third in the men's 200m invitational with a personal-best time of 20.71, the sixth fastest indoor mark in program history.

2023 Recap
The Horned Frogs had a stellar outdoor season as they qualified 22 total entries for the NCAA West Preliminary and sent two entries to the NCAA Outdoor Championships. Sydney Juszczyk won her first Big 12 Outdoor Championship in the javelin with her throw of 50.40m (165' 4").
Also highlighting the 2023 season was the crowning of two TCU champions at the Penn Relays. Iyana Gray won the Frogs' first ever championship in the women's 100m and the team of Ethan Brown, David Seete, Donnie James and Ryan Jordan brought home TCU's first 4x400 title since 2008.
