The Horned Frogs will open Big 12 Conference action on Monday at 7 p.m.
FORT WORTH – TCU (7-4) will open its 13th season of Big 12 Conference play when it meets new conference member, Arizona (6-5), on Monday at 7 p.m. CT. on ESPN+ at the McKale Center in Tucson, Ariz.
NOTES
- It will be TCU's first game in the state of Arizona since Nov. 17, 2009, a 52-49 loss at Arizona State.
- TCU is 3-9 in Big 12 Conference opening games and has won three of the past six openers, most recently in 2023.
- TCU was picked 10th in the Big 12 Preseason Poll.
- Last season, TCU finished 9-9 and tied for seventh in the Big 12.
- Jamie Dixon is five wins away from 500 as a head coach. His 167 wins at TCU rank second all-time.
- Ernest Udeh Jr., who is averaging 9.1 points, 8.0 rebounds and 1.6 blocks, is TCU's only returning scholarship player.
