
TCU Cross Country Wraps Regular Season at Arturo Barrios Invitational

Horned Frogs secure pair of top 20 team finishes in the field of 40
COLLEGE STATION, Texas – TCU cross country closed out its regular season at the Arturo Barrios Invitational Friday morning, securing a pair of top 20 finishes in the field of over 40 teams.
Overall, the Frogs placed just one spot outside of the top 10 on the men's side, 49 points back of SFA. The women grabbed 20th as a team in their first 6k action of the season.
Johnson Lagat led the men for the second time this season. The sophomore dropped a PR 23:37.4 to finish 38th out of 370 runners. Seniors Graydon Morris and Noah Winters followed with top 100 finishes. Morris posted a sub-24-minute 8k while Winters turned in a 24:04.4. Tate Underwood and Hector Solis rounded out the scoring for the men with 96 and 99 points, respectively. Solis also ran a personal best time of 24:12.4.
Tabitha Ngao led TCU on the women's side. She crossed the finish line 43rd out of 394 runners with a time of 20:19.1. Mckenzie Bailey and Ava Santora each notched top 150 times just 10 seconds apart at 21:23.9 and 21:33.2. Gabby Martin and Olivia Andrews were the next two quickest Frogs, turning in sub-22-minute times.
