TCU continues the regular season at Texas Tech
FORT WORTH – Following a successful indoor season-opener, TCU track and field continues its regular season at the Corky Classic in Lubbock, Texas. The two-day meet begins at 5 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 19 and 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 20.

TCU kicked off the indoor season with a bang as the squad earned four event wins and rewrote two school records. Benjamin Kirbo got the day started for TCU with his record-setting 5.18m (17-0) in the pole vault. The sophomore broke his own school record with his winning height.
Also breaking her own school record was Gracie Morris. She placed first in the mile with her new personal-best time of 4:39.07 in her first race of the season.
Graydon Morris placed first in the 3K with his time of 8:16.89, good for the fourth-fastest time in program history. Rylan Engels also won the 800m with the fifth-fastest time in program history (2:11.68) in her first collegiate win.
In her Horned Frog debut, Teanna Harlin placed second overall in the 200m with her time of 23.50 – the fourth fastest indoor time in program history. She also placed fifth and ran the sixth-fastest time in program history in the 60m dash with her time of 7.37. Jasmin Muhammad-Graham (600m), Jaren Holmes (long jump) and Damilare Olukosi (triple jump) all placed second in their respective events as well.

2023 Recap
The Horned Frogs had a stellar outdoor season as they qualified 22 total entries for the NCAA West Preliminary and sent two entries to the NCAA Outdoor Championships. Sydney Juszczyk won her first Big 12 Outdoor Championship in the javelin with her throw of 50.40m (165' 4").
Also highlighting the 2023 season was the crowning of two TCU champions at the Penn Relays. Iyana Gray won the Frogs' first ever championship in the women's 100m and the team of Ethan Brown, David Seete, Donnie James and Ryan Jordan brought home TCU's first 4x400 title since 2008.
