FORT WORTH – TCU track and field looks to continue their indoor season success at the Jarvis Scott Open this Friday and Saturday in Lubbock, Texas.

At the New Mexico Collegiate Classic, Grace Anigbata's 13.24m (43-5.25) was good for second overall and is the No. 12 mark in the NCAA this season. She joins Jaren Holmes in the top 15, as his jump of 16.14m (52-11.5) from the Arkansas Invitational has him listed as seventh on the NCAA performance list.
Additionally, Iyana Gray ran a 7.37@ in the 60m, good for the 50th best time in the country. Her 23.49@ in the 200m at the New Mexico Collegiate Classic puts her at No. 30.
At the Iowa State Classic, Gracie Morris continued her dominant season with individual wins in the 800m (2:10.54) and the mile (4:49.71). So far this season, she has won three races.
USTFCCCA Rankings
In the latest edition of the USTFCCCA rankings, TCU's men's triple jumpers are currently third nationally in the #EventSquad rankings. Holmes' season-best 16.14m leads the pack while Theophilus Mudzengerere is 26th on the NCAA performance list with his jump of 15.64m (51-3.75).
Patrick Sylla's 14.97m (49-1.5) and Gavin Champ's 14.88m (48-10) round out the top four jumpers for TCU.

Chengetayi (Du) Mapaya won his second outdoor title in the triple jump at the 2022 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships. Mapaya's defining jump came on his third attempt when the Harare, Zimbabwe, native jumped 17.26m (56-7.50) breaking his own school record and recording a life-time best. It was the second time that season Mapaya cleared 17.00m.
Additionally, the men's 4x100 relay team of Bryson Stubblefield, Tinotenda Matiyenga, Kundai Maguranyanga and Robert Gregory Jr. were named First Team All-Americans in the 4x100 relay after finishing seventh in the finals with a time of 39.08.
Gracie Morris (1500m) and Grace Anigbata (triple jump) both earned Honorable Mention All America honors as well.
TCU concluded the 2021-22 season winning three individual Big 12 Championships and breaking eight school records.
