Anigbata Shines on Day Two in New Mexico

Morris wins two events at Iowa State Classic
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Behind Grace Anigbata's second-place jump, TCU track and field wrapped up competition at the New Mexico Collegiate Classic and the Iowa State Classic.
Anigbata's 13.24m (43-5.25) is good for a top 15 time in the NCAA this season. She placed second overall in her first meet of the season.
Jaren Holmes took seventh in the men's triple jump with his leap of 15.88m (52-1.25). Following right behind him was Theophilus Mudzengerere with his eighth place finish of 15.64m (51-3.75).
Both Samantha Callaway (13.71m) and Kyler Van Grouw (15.70m) placed eighth, respectively, in the women's and men's shot put.
At the Iowa State Classic, Gracie Morris won two events on the day. She placed first in the mile with her winning time of 4:49.71. Additionally, Mariana Martinez (5:01.47) and London Culbreath (5:02.18) placed eighth and ninth, respectively.
Morris brought home another win in the 800m with her first-place time of 2:10.54. Three other Frogs placed in the top 10, with Jasmin Muhammad-Graham (2:15.87) placing fifth, Culbreath (2:17.20) taking sixth and Rylan Engels (2:22.97) finishing eighth.
