Prince tallies NCAA single-game high 10 blocks in 77-60 win
FORT WORTH – ACU put up a fight, but TCU's stars simply were too much in a 77-60 Horned Frogs victory on Tuesday in Schollmaier Arena.
Madison Conner and Sedona Prince combined for 53 points in a wire-to-wire win that sent TCU (9-0) to its second-longest winning streak in program history.
Conner finished with a game-high 29 behind a 9-19 clip behind the arc. The junior's 3-point clinic came just four days after she canned an NCAA single-game high 10 in TCU's takedown of Tulsa.
Prince procured her sixth double-double of the season – tied for the most by any D1 player. She paired 24 points with a career-high 10 blocks across 38 minutes. The 6-7 center flirted with a triple-double down the stretch, as she added seven rebounds to her stat line.
Prince's 10 blocks were the most in a game by any D1 player in 2023-24.
The tandem single-handedly staked TCU to a 20-4 advantage through the contest's first seven-and-a-half minutes. Consecutive 3-pointers by Tara Manumaleuga and Aaliyah Roberson then opened up TCU's largest lead of the evening at 26-4 with under a minute to go in the frame.

ACU pulled within four points of the Horned Frogs at 37-33 entering halftime. The Wildcats closed the second quarter on a 21-4 run over the final 7:20 of the period. ACU took advantage of five Horned Frog turnovers and converted 4-8 looks behind the arc.
The Horned Frogs promptly regained control of the contest out of the intermission. TCU netted back-to-back-to-back 3-pointers on its first trio of possessions and assumed a 46-33 advantage. Una Jovanovic pocketed the first triple before Conner's hot hand connected on the ensuing pair.
Jaden Owens was credited with the assist on all three long balls. The fifth-year point guard again orchestrated a masterclass in court vision. She dished out 11 assists for the second consecutive game, seven of which came in the second half.
ACU twice trimmed the Horned Frogs' third quarter lead to single digits. Agnes Emma-Nnopu, though, was there to stymie the Wildcats' threat.
Emma-Nnopu pulled down 10 rebounds – seven of which came on the offensive glass – and scored five points over the final 1:46 in the quarter to give TCU a comfortable 55-43 edge entering the final frame.
The senior guard went on to finish with a career and game-high 14 rebounds.
Conner and Owens bookended 3-pointers around an and-one from Prince to put TCU in front by 16 points at 64-48 with 7:28 to go and effectively put the game on ice.
Conner had three 3-pointers apiece in the first and fourth quarters.
TCU finished with a 41-29 advantage on the boards. The plus-12 rebounding margin was the Horned Frogs' third-largest in a game this season.
The Horned Frogs held ACU to a season-low 12 assists compared to 22 of their own.
TCU held the Wildcats to 36 percent shooting (22-62). All-but-one of the Horned Frogs opponents in 2023-24 have failed to connect at or above a 40 percent clip from the field.
