
Horned Frogs Move Up Five Spots at Schooner Fall Classic

Macnab with a second-consecutive round under par in Norman
NORMAN, Okla. – TCU sophomore Caitlyn Macnab carded a second-consecutive round under par, posting a score of 67 (-3) and helping the Horned Frogs move up five spots into seventh place with one round left to play at the Schooner Fall Classic.
Macnab is now 4-under for the tournament and will head into Monday's final round in a tie for fifth place, just three shots off Louisville's Carmen Griffiths, who leads the field at 7-under par.
Junior Lois Lau also managed to move up Sunday's leaderboard, carding a second-round score of 68 (-2) and moving into a tie for 17th place with a two-day score of 71-68=138 (-1).
Freshman Sofia Barroso Sá carded a 72 (+2) and junior Sabrina Nguyen followed with a 76 (+4) on Sunday. Freshman Charlotte Cattaneo rounded out TCU's scoring with a 76 (+6).
The Horned Frogs had the biggest jump of any team on Sunday, moving up from 12th place in Saturday's opening round to sole-possession of seventh place with a team score of 283 (+3). TCU, 280-283=563 (+3), will head into Monday's final round 11 stokes behind Florida State, who leads the field with a two-day score of 552 (-8).
The Frogs are one shot back of North Texas (sixth place, +2), two shots behind Baylor (fifth place, +1), and three shots back of Oklahoma State (fourth place, +1).
Monday's final round will begin with tees times from holes No. 1 and No. 10 at 8:30 a.m.
