Meet set for a 7:30 a.m. start

FORT WORTH – The TCU men's and women's cross country teams are set to compete at the UTA Season Opener on Sept. 11 in Grand Prairie, Texas.

The women's team starts the day for the Horned Frogs as the 5k starts at 7:30 a.m. The men will run shortly after with their race beginning at 8:15 a.m.

The squads got off to an excellent start last week at the Aggie Opener. Lakelin Conrad finished second overall in the meet and first for the Horned Frogs with a time of 15:38.9. On the women's side, Mariana Martinez placed eighth overall as she led the Horned Frogs with a time of 14:47.2.

Tomorrow's race will take place at Lynn Creek Park at Joe Pool Lake.
